Like its cousin, Art Glass, our beautiful Art Glass Purple line of handpainted ceramic switchplates recalls the square-in-a-square abstract art of Josef Albers, a German mathematician and painter. Albers work influenced many 50's and 60's artists, a period look reflected in these switch plates. Each one features five members of the purple color family (lavender, pink, cranberry, purple and cobalt) seemingly randomly arranged in a square mosaic pattern. A gradient plum edge finishes the design off nicely. Each plate has subtle variations - we dare you to try to spot the differences!
