The real thing…real birch bark, some with the moss still on it. Each piece of bark is hand peeled from the birch tree and grows back in 2-3 years with no damage to the tree. The birch bark is trimmed with red willow sticks and hand stitched to a plastic plate with sinew. No two alike…each design determined by Mother Nature.
