Upgrading your browser is simple but can take time to download the upgrade, depending on the speed of your internet access. Here are a few downloading tips:

Before you begin the download, print the instructions first.

Download at night when less people are using the internet and download should be quicker.

Selecting “Run this program from its current location” for the File Download Window will run the browser upgrade over the internet and automatically upgrade your browser for you, however, will take longer than the “Save this program to disk” option.

Selecting “Save this program to disk” will download the browser upgrade file to your computer in a folder that you must choose. Follow the directions that you printed to continue the upgrade process after the file is downloaded.

If you choose “Save this program to disk,” you can select the “Close this dialog box when download completes” to automatically disconnect from the internet immediately following the download so your computer is not online the entire night.
